About Reuben
Once upon a time Reuben was just a musician. Then they got a job. Then they started streaming. Then they got another job. Then there was a pandemic, and everything was hell. And so to cope with that, they began a venture into miniature based table top. And painting them. The need to paint caused a need for more miniatures, and so 3D Printing joined the fray.
And so, here we are. Doing all of the above and loving every moment of it.
Reuben Spiers is a musician who both composes and arranges music for and from all kinds of media. Their main styling is neo-folk (or apocalyptic folk, you decide which sounds cooler), using a variety of traditional acoustic instruments and infusing them with performances of punk, ska and progressive influences. Realistically, they can and will do most genres, just not EDM.
As a streamer, Reuben plays a wide variety of games, leaning more towards RPGs with plenty of story, but with a decent mix of party games, platformers and more. Their streams are generally quite relaxed, with two guests on Mondays (9PM BST/4PM EST) and on their own on Fridays (8PM BST/3PM EST).
And finally as a miniature enthusiast, they follow the path of Battletech. And there’s a lot of it. Their long term project is a modular 3D printed terrain set including tiles of different heights, structures, foliage, and biomes.
Someone should maybe tell them to stop painting for a bit and get back to music.
